Responsibilities

Conducts client intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, then makes recommendations to the primary care provider concerning clients’ treatment goals and plans. Advises primary care provider about which clients are better served at the primary care setting and which should be referred to specialty mental health facilities. Assists, to the extent feasible, in the clients’ community functioning by helping with public benefits, vocational rehabilitation, social support, housing, etc. Assists in the detection of “at risk” clients and in the development of plans to prevent worsening of their condition.

Qualifications or Skills Required

Must have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counselling, elated field from a CACREP accredited university. Must have behavioral health experience including individual, family and group therapy in a clinical setting. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Requires intermittent walking, sitting and standing; some bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Currently licensed with the State of Texas. One year as a professional Registered Nurse preferred. Current CPR certification, ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred for Emergency Room. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Under the supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director, the sleep lab technician administers prescribed sleep study procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures and assists in the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of sleep study equipment.

Qualifications or Skills Required

The sleep lab technician will perform overnight sleep studies one to two nights a week. They should display excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. In addition, it is also vital they demonstrate a commitment to provide exceptional service to the patients as well as the ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision. Certification required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and implementation of hospital policies. Has primary leadership responsibility for ambulatory care, operating room, post anesthesia care and sterile processing services. Participates in budget preparation, recruitment and retention, and other aspects of patient care at the direction of the CNO. Maintains necessary regulatory, compliance and accreditation standards for his/her areas of responsibility. Focuses on staff education and competencies.

Qualifications or Skills Required

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Currently licensed with the State of Texas. ACLS, PALS and NRP required. Five years of recent operating room experience required and one year in a supervisory position preferred. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
