Pulmonary medicine is the treatment of diseases of the lung and the respiratory system. Often breathing difficulties can be traced to pulmonary or other diseases such as COPD, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, allergic reactions, asthmas, and many other conditions. Even high levels of anxiety can cause breathing issues and result in a trip to the ER. In most cases, our team of Physicians will conduct a diagnosis and prescribe a treatment plan suitable to the patient or will refer the patient to a specialist within our group of physicians.
Patients with chronic coughs, bronchitis, COPD, lung infections, and pneumonia, can often be treated and released; although, some cases may require hospital stays. Our goal is to provide compassionate healthcare for every patient who visits our hospital, and to assist each patient to return to their normal daily activities. If you are experiencing breathing difficulties or have maintained a persistent cough, you should visit our emergency room.
